By accessing and using VestedGrad ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

VestedGrad reserves the right to update and change these Terms of Service at any time without notice. Continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your consent to such changes.

2. Description of Service

VestedGrad is a college value analysis platform that provides:

• Analysis of college programs using publicly available federal data
• Net price estimations based on household income
• Value ratings and financial scenarios
• Comparison tools for evaluating multiple college scenarios
• Earnings and debt data visualization

The Service is provided "as is" and VestedGrad reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

5. Subscription and Payments

5.1 Free and Premium Plans

VestedGrad offers both free and premium subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited to 3 saved simulations and basic features
• Premium Plan: Unlimited simulations, PDF exports, and advanced comparison features

5.2 Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). By subscribing, you authorize VestedGrad to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks
• Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service without our express written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices from the Service

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 VestedGrad Content

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content and federal data), features, and functionality are owned by VestedGrad and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content

You retain ownership of any simulations, notes, or other content you create using the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant VestedGrad a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7.3 Federal Data

College data is sourced from the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard, which is in the public domain. VestedGrad does not claim ownership of this public data.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Educational Tool Disclaimer

You acknowledge that:

• All projections, value scores, and earnings estimates are based on historical data and statistical models
• Actual outcomes may vary significantly based on individual circumstances, economic conditions, and career choices
• Net price calculations are estimates based on federal data and may not reflect your actual financial aid package
• You should consult with financial advisors, college counselors, and university financial aid offices before making enrollment decisions

8.2 Data Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, VestedGrad makes no warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the data presented. Federal data sources may have:

• Privacy suppressions (data withheld for small sample sizes)
• Reporting delays (data may be 1-3 years old)
• Incomplete information for some institutions or programs

8.3 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
